Life still is really wonderful.

How can it not be so? We have had some rain, not enough by all means but some, the winter is almost over and the response to our wines has continued to grow.

For those of you that do not yet know it in the latest James Halliday 2008 Wine Companion the Tuck's Ridge review stands out like the proverbial bottle in the brown paper bag at a silver service restaurant.

Our 2005 Hurley Vineyard Pinot Noir was rated at 97/100, the highest individual rating of any wine from the region and an equal rating to that given to the current release Grange Hermitage and Hill of Grace, the fact that we think it is better than those wines is hardly surprising. Better still is that most of our wines received mid 90's ratings and my personal favourite the 2005 Buckle Vineyard Pinot Noir has yet to be rated by the great man. So a warning to Mr Halliday hold on tight because the ride is about to get even more exciting and to followers of Tuck's Ridge and lovers of fine wine come and try the wines that make the professionals salivate.

As an additional note we have rationalised our production so moving forward we are producing less wine of a hugely improved nature. It means that when our new release events occur it is best that you all stock up as availability will become ever tighter as more and more people want to enjoy the best wines, representing the best value, that the region and indeed Australia can produce.

It's not hard to find and enjoy our wine but it will become far easier to miss out as word get around.
